Clarence Drive and Kogel Bay (R44 coastal road from Gordon's Bay) — One of the most beautiful coastal drives in the world, hugging the cliffs to Rooi-Els and Pringle Bay. Stop at Kogel Bay for surf, caves and picnics.
Steenbras Dam and Crystal Pools (Above Gordon's Bay) — A short, steep hike into the Steenbras River gorge to swim in crystal-clear rock pools. Permits are limited, so book ahead in summer.
Helderberg Nature Reserve (Somerset West) — Fynbos trails from an easy stroll to a summit hike, with sweeping views over False Bay. Great for birding and sundowners on the lawns.
Harold Porter Botanical Garden (Betty's Bay, 40 minutes away) — Fynbos gardens between mountain and sea, with the Disa Kloof waterfall walk and a tea garden. Pair it with the penguins at Stony Point.
